Inspired by the natural medicines available in The Gambia this project aims to establish a micro eco system in an area with many different types of plants, all with nutritional and health benefits.

Herbs, plants and seeds provide many benefits to diet and general emotional & physical well-being for children and adults alike. Supporting a healthy diet in children enables them to grow with fit minds & bodies, achieve well at school and have less health problems as adults. For others who may be seeking specific remedies or alternative & additional therapies, natural products can assist with issues including those for anti-cancer & support through the ageing process.

Creating a pot-based garden with experimental growing mediums using re-constituted coco-fibre, the aim is to contain the water in the root system for enhanced irrigation. 

Planting herbs & plants from all around the world will provide a fertile plot for insects and birds to flourish. Insects are essential pollinators and encouraging a diverse habitat assists a wider area to regenerate.
